How can I easily get pregnant?

If you want to get pregnant easily then you must try to conceive during your most fertile period i.e. around ovulation. You must try to eat healthy and balanced nutritious meals as well as keep a check on your weight for gaining pregnancy. Adopting a healthy lifestyle also helps you to attain conception quickly. This incorporates doing light exercise on a regular basis and staying away from oily and processed food items. Staying away from liquor and stress is also equally important for a woman who is trying for conception. The last thing that can help you to get pregnant easily is taking up a prenatal appointment with your gynecologist to know your reproductive health and stocking up the supplements as recommended for obtaining pregnancy.

How many days do you ovulate?

Ovulation is the time when a healthy and mature egg is released from your ovaries every month for fertilization to occur in the fallopian tubes. In a cycle of 28 days, ovulation occurs around the fourteenth day every month. The ovulation would last for about 24 hours every month. The released egg would be then shed and dissolved in the form of menstruation from your body after two weeks or simply gets fertilized with sperm and results in pregnancy. The time to achieve pregnancy is therefore the best when you are ovulating and most fertile too. A woman can get pregnant not only on the day of ovulation but also before the start of ovulation i.e. two to three days before your ovulation day.

How do I know if I have ovulated?

There are many signs that could prove your ovulation has occurred. As a major symptom there is slight increase in your basal body temperature and a change in your cervical mucus which becomes more clear and slippery, similar to an egg white. Your cervix also softens and becomes soft at the time you ovulate. Ovulation is the time when you experience a surge in your sexual drive too because of an increase in your levels of major sex hormones and increased fertility. Some women may also notice occurrence of mild cramps and spotting during this time which gives a clear indication that you have ovulated. If you are experiencing mild cramps about two weeks before your menstrual cycle then this could be a perfect sign of your ovulation.

How fast after your period can you get pregnant?

The best time to conceive for a woman is around ovulation which occurs on the fourteenth or fifteenth day after your periods. A woman is about to release an egg from the ovaries during ovulation which makes it easier for the sperms to enter an egg at that time. In order to get pregnant faster after your periods, it is important to time your intercourse during the ovulation. Also, you should be ready with the pregnancy in terms of fitness and emotional health. You can try for conception soon after your period stops, however, the chances of becoming pregnant are lesser as compared to the ovulation time. A woman who is going for unprotected sex might gain pregnancy even after the period or before the period or almost any time during her menstrual cycle. However, the best time to conceive and gain a successful pregnancy is around ovulation.
